Incoming students
The University School of Nursing in Vitoria-Gasteiz offers mobility students the opportunity to experience high-quality education, complemented by clinical placements in various professional settings within Osakidetza-the Basque Health Service.
Visiting students will have access to practical training in acute care hospitals, health centers, and the mental health network. These experiences will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of care throughout all stages of the life cycle.

"I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to live this experience and learn from a different healthcare system, with more individualized practices and excellent nursing mentors who were both empathetic and professional."
Constanza Paz Hernández Bucher"They always supported me in adapting to the challenges I faced, as I sometimes felt lost with the hospital procedures, protocols, and materials, which were different from those in my country where I do my clinical placements. I also made great friends, both in the city and from other countries, with whom I explored and discovered new places. I hope to stay in touch with them and, someday, meet again. This experience brought me immense joy, along with skills such as independence, mental strength, courage, and pride in myself for daring to live it. I grew both personally and professionally, and that is something I will never forget. I will always be deeply grateful for this opportunity."
"My experience in Vitoria-Gasteiz has also been very enriching in terms of learning about gastronomy, language, and cultural differences. The university offers various resources to help students connect and form friendships that I will always remember (there are volunteers who organize activities and support chats for international students, so you'll never run out of things to do). I really enjoyed the city—its charming old town, traditions, excellent transportation system, and its connectivity to neighboring cities. I also loved the vibrant social and university life on weekends. Without a doubt, it's a place I highly recommend for exchange students, and I would definitely return without hesitation."
